So I finished this book a few weeks ago and I thought i'd just share what I thought of it. Without giving anything away, this book is about a 16 year old girl called Hazel with cancer who meets a teenage boy called Augustus at a cancer support group.
The book was beautifully written and very touching and the characters are very well formed. In a nutshell, I liked this book a lot.
I just want to read this again. I read this book quickly but if I could turn back time I would have read it slower, so I could think about the little details in more detail and so certain characters could be alive for longer in my mind. I have thoroughly enjoyed/cried while reading this book and in my opinion that is what makes books great. It must be challenging to write a book, but yet even more challenging to write a book which provokes emotion like the 'fault in our stars'. John green is truly a great writer and I am already reading another of his books. I will definitely be re reading this book sometime in the future.
I hope you found this post useful,
Lots of love,
